Whether in Potsdam or Cottbus, in Eisenhüttenstadt or Dedelow – in many locations across Brandenburg, numerous examples of site-specific art can be found, representing the diversity of East German art in public spaces. A cultural heritage right in the midst of everyday life!

The Museum of Utopia and Everyday Culture, together with photographer and author Martin Maleschka and the Brandenburg State Office for Monument Preservation and Archaeological State Museum (Open in new tab), showcases Brandenburg’s artistic richness while addressing the challenges linked to this cultural heritage.

The exhibition can be visited from 25 January to 8 December 2023, Monday through Friday, 08:00 to 18:00, at the State Parliament. It will be closed on public holidays.
