The Museum Utopia and Everyday Life at the Beeskow location is an open depot that allows visitors to directly discover a broad spectrum of the works archived within it.

Visits to the depot are possible during regularly scheduled tours and events. Additionally, there is an option to book tours for special dates.

Large-format oil paintings, fragile paper works, heavy bronze busts, fine ceramics, intricately knotted tapestries – the collection of publicly funded artworks preserved in Beeskow offers various insights into the cultural and art system of the GDR. Previously owned before 1990 by organizations such as the Free German Trade Union Federation (FDGB), the Cultural Association, or the parties, they now belong to the federal states of Berlin, Brandenburg, and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. On the one hand, these works allow for a reading of political and societal norms, while on the other hand, the collection invites viewers to explore artistic and aesthetic qualities.
