We continuously improve usability for all and apply the appropriate accessibility standards. The accessibility statement only applies to the district administration’s website under the Uniform Resource Locator (URL) listed below. Portals on subdomains are excluded.

The Museum Utopie und Alltag endeavours to make its website accessible in accordance with the Brandenburg Disability Equality Act (BbgBGG) and the Brandenburg Barrier-Free Information Technology Ordinance (BbgBITV) in conjunction with the Ordinance on the Creation of Barrier-Free Information Technology in accordance with the Disability Equality Act (BITV 2.0).
Accessibility is based on the internationally valid Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) at conformity level AA and the European standard EN 301 549, version 3.1.1.

Enforcement proceedings
If you are not satisfied with the processing of your request or do not receive a response from the above contact option within a period of three weeks, you can submit a corresponding application to the Enforcement Centre of the State of Brandenburg, established at the Ministry of Social Affairs, Health, Integration and Consumer Protection of the State of Brandenburg – State Disability Commissioner, for an examination of the regulations and measures mentioned in the declaration on accessibility. The enforcement body checks the legal validity of the application in terms of content and, in individual cases, orders a technical review of the website by the Monitoring Centre for Accessibility of Web and Application Technologies in the State of Brandenburg.
The enforcement centre in accordance with Section 4 (3) BbgBITV has the task of settling disputes between people with disabilities and public bodies in the state of Brandenburg on the subject of accessibility in IT. The enforcement procedure is free of charge. No legal assistance is required.
