Large-scale oil paintings, fragile paper pieces, heavy bronze busts, fine ceramics and laboriously woven wall textiles: not only the quantity, but also the diversity of the Beeskow collection requires a depot facility that provides adequate space for every artwork.

Since 2019, the Art Archive has been fulfilling those conservational requirements at its new location in the direct vicinity of the medieval fortress Burg Beeskow. The additional space and modern technology not only ensure that the artworks are preserved in the long-term, but also represent a decisive step in enhancing their public profile.
